Why I Hate Gift Buying, But Have to Do It!

I should know better being in the wholesale gift packaging industry, but gift buying is as difficult for me as anyone else.
Buying gifts is supposed to be fun and exciting, what a joke. People who have everything, or think they do, are the worst, you buy something and they pretend to love it, yet you never see them use it or wear it. Choosing gifts for these individuals requires patience and creativity. Sometimes I will use the help of other people to find out what they want and not what I think they want. Sure that sweater looks great in the store, but will they wear it? If all else, fails I give the gift that keeps on giving and the one that you can never go wrong with, cash or the ever popular Wal-Mart gift card. Some might say these gifts are not personal and require very little thought, but the person who has everything is usually happy and so am I. They have a gift they will use and I don’t have a reason to feel insulted.
