We Should All Do Our Bit to Prevent Littering

There are many bad habits that people adopt but littering in the streets is one of the worst. It is really very unhygienic and bad for human health. It is also very bad for the environment as it spreads a smell in the air, and generally makes the area unpleasant. The local company offering road sweeper hire seems to be doing well by the littering - but that's about the only people benefiting from such filth!
The litter that has been thrown can be recycled if it's properly disposed of, but rarely is that so. We must keep our street and country clean! Small children begin to play with litter and that's how diseases spread and infections occur. Littering is no joke - it's just a bad habit borne out of sheer laziness. We need to change our attitudes and be bothered about litter more. When we see litter, we should pick it up and find a bin for it.
