Solar Panels on My Roof Help Cut Down My Bills

I'm all about saving money when and where I can, even my security lights feature a solar panel! I know a few people make fun of how I go about saving money, but they laugh less when I tell them how much I save. What's laughable to me though, is how money many people waste these days. We're so careless with our money! Lights are left on, TVs and laptops left on standby - so much power wasted. Not only that, but look at the roads every morning - every car has one person in it. It's just an absurd world we live in that's so wasteful - and given the looming energy crisis (some say we're already in one), why isn't it more fashionable to cut down on power useage? I guess the recent increases in gas and electricity costs will help push people to my way of thinking.
