It is a really good idea to do a lot of research before you decide who to represent you for your accident at work compensation claim.
There are a lot of solicitors out there and many of them are personal injury lawyers. This means that there are plenty to choose from and this is a really great thing. You want to make sure that they are capable of representing you well.
This means that you want to find one who has a lot of experience of dealing with cases very much like yours and so you will need to check out the websites of the solicitors which should have information about the types of cases that they deal with. You can take a look at the information on there and it should give you an idea of whether they deal with work accident claims and also whether these are specifically the type of work accidents that you have had.
If you cannot find that information, then you could phone them up and talk to them about it instead. They should be able to tell you about the types of cases that they tend to deal with. It is likely that they will only be interested in taking on your case if they have taken on such cases in the past anyway. They will want to win, if they can because they have a reputation they want to uphold and most solicitors tend to get paid more if they win the case, depending on the way they negotiate payment with their clients.
Therefore if they turn you down, just go and look elsewhere, because there are plenty to choose from and they may have only done it because you are not the right sort of case for them.
