My Fashion Obsession: The Fur Collar

My current favorite fashion item is a grey fox fur collar that I purchased a few months ago. It goes so well with my oscar boots. I initially bought it thinking that it was a cute, fun accessory that I could use to step up a sweater. Since getting it home, I have found it to be so much more versatile than that. I attach it to everything from coat hoods, to shirt collars, to purses. IT instantly steps up and refreshes whatever item I pair it with. IT adds a little bit of luxe and detail to what could otherwise be a very run of the mill article of clothing. I chose my fox collar in a silver grey color, so it pairs beautifully with navy, black, brown, camel and pretty much any color you can think of. The other nice attribute of the collar, is the seasonal versatility. Typically a coat with a fur collar attached is made for extremely cold winter weather and is, therefore heavy. The collar allows me to attach it to a much lighter weight collar, thus having the look of “Fall” when it is still to warm for super heavy layers.
