It's become apparent to me that graphic design agencies are offering better value for money these days. Why? Because there's a lot more competition out there. A lot of agencies are small teams working from home, so their costs are minimal. Hardware costs have been greatly reduced too, over the years.
Searching graphic design agencies london for example, I can see there's a healthy competition between many agencies even regionally.
This is good for the end-client of course - they can expect reduced rates for the same service. Having said that, it means there's a lot more companies to browse now if you need graphic design services - which can lead to confusion and doubt for those who don't know a good company from a bad one. I always go on friend's or acquaintances recommendations as they don't want to let me down - always ask around first for such business amongst your friends and colleagues.
