Food and Drink
I love going to pubs, and so when I visited the UK, I spent more time in pubs near Buxton than my partner did walking the (apparently) lovely trails in the Peak District.
But enough about the disharmony of our relationship, let me get back to my favourite subject: pubs! Let me tell you about my favourite. I love going to Harry's. They have a few outlets all over the city, so it's always easy to find a Harry's to hang out at. The drinks menu is really extensive! They have wines, beers, cocktails, house pours, and even mocktails for those who don't drink alcohol. Their prices are pretty reasonable, and the drinks aren't watered down. If you go during happy hour, you can get an even better deal! The food is pretty good for a bar too! They have your typical bar food, but if you're feeling hungrier, there are also options for a proper meal. I especially love their quesadillas! The music at Harry's is good too - and on weekends, they have live bands that play a variety of music. Sometimes, there are jazz bands, other times, there are pop groups, so there's always something for everyone. And to top this all off, the wait staff at Harry's are always friendly, helpful and smiling. Whether you're relaxing with your coworkers after work, or meeting up with friends over the weekend, you'll definitely have a good time at Harry's!
