Even My Childhood Had Electronic Toys!

Fashion
I can't believe I'm a parent now who feels rather unsophisticated compared to my daughter - she's got her own fashion tastes - particularly Oilily bags - and even has her own laptop computer too!
And then I remember back to my childhood - we were the first generation to be gifted the marvel that is electronic games and toys. When I was a kid there was a toy that I desired the most, it wasn’t a radio-controlled car or a bike, what I wanted over all things was a Super Nintendo (Entertainment System). I still remember when I got mine for Christmas, I opened the box and I couldn’t take my eyes or hands away from it. This little plastic thing was not a toy it was a door to countless fantasy worlds, it was a path for becoming whatever you wanted to be, from an Italian plumber in his quest to rescue his beloved princess, to a car driver or even a giant ape with anthropomorphic features. They only thing I as boy needed was to turn that plastic box on, and all notions of time and space vanished, there was no other place where I rather be, or other thing I be rather doing, even to this date I cherish the times I spent with it, playing with friends or by myself.
