Vincent is graduating from high school very soon. Every time I look at him, I am amazed at how he turned out to be a fine young man, despite the circumstances he has been confronted with as a child. Vince did not grow up with his father because his parents were not married to begin with. Vincent is a product of his parents' impulsive decisions that they failed to stand by in the long run. It's a good thing that Vincent has us - a strong support system. His father figure was his grandpa - my dad, actually. For a time, Vincent thought that my mom was his mom. He believed that Terry was his sister, not his mother. Poor boy. But when he was old enough to understand his complicated situation, Vincent expressed his desire to meet his biological father. Not wanting to make him feel bad, we supported his wishes. But we did not know where his dad was so we had to use reverse search phone numbers to find him. Until now, we're still looking for his dad and we hope to find him soon in time for Vincent's graduation.
