A Fool Proof Way to Save Money

Everyone wants to save money, especially with the current economic situation as well as so many people being unemployed. Individuals and families everywhere are searching for ways to save. Over the years I have tried various methods to save and have found one that works best for me. This "easy savings plan" does require you to use cash often. I think that the simplicity of my somewhat common method is what keeps me at it. No real effort involved for me. Every time I make a purchase, I save the coins, or as I refer to it, the jingle. When I am at a store and my total items ring up at the register as $14.03, I hand over $15.00. The ninety-seven cents goes straight in my pocket. Once I get home I have a large Culligan water container I deposit my precious jingle into. That's it, rather simple. We as consumers receive change daily. Over time it truly does add up. When I was in a financial bind four years ago it was the only option I had to pay my electric bill with plenty left over. Since Coinstars have begun to regularly spring up in grocery stores around my area, the temptation to cash in has become a bit greater, but it has made it easier to cash my change savings in without making a poor bank teller annoyed!
One other tips I should mention - consider your utility bills. Are you paying too much? You can find out your cheapest electricity and gas suppliers online by entering a search in Google for something like cheap electricity Loughborough to see who's supplying in your area.
